Access profiles and invite only

In a company community, new topics, chat rooms, events, folders, videos and courses start as invite only and hidden. People only see what was opened to them. The owner, admins and moderators always see everything.

Create access profiles

1. In the community, open Settings → Invite only.
2. Under Access profiles, type a name (for example *Finance*, *Sales* or *HR*) and tap Create profile.
3. Open the profile and add people from the member list.

You can have up to 50 profiles. A person can be in more than one.

Open an item to a profile

1. In Settings → Invite only, find the topic, chat room, event, folder, video collection, video or course.
2. Under Profiles with access, turn on the profiles that should see it.

Everyone in the profile gets access right away and a notification with the link. When someone joins the profile later, they see the item too; when they leave it, they lose that access.

You can still invite single people to an item, on top of the profiles.

Courses

In company mode courses are not tied to subscriptions. A course with Invite only access is seen only by the people and profiles you open it to. See the courses option in Settings → Courses & lessons.
