Credit usage
See your credit balance, what each of your communities uses per day, the estimate for the month, and pause or resume a community. Members pay nothing.
Settings → Credit usage is the owner's panel for credits. It shows your balance, how long it lasts, what each of your communities uses per day and the total for the month. It's also where you pause or resume a community.
Credits come from the owner's Anyza account and are charged in the daily closing. Members pay nothing. New to credits? Start with What credits are.
Who sees it
- Owner: sees everything and can top up, pause and resume.
- Admins: can open the panel to see the status, with the note "Only the owner can top up. Balance and consumption belong to the owner's account."
Balance and status
At the top you see:
- Your balance in credits.
- The status: All good, Running low, Almost out, Out of credits or Paused.
- How long it lasts: "lasts about N days at the current pace".
- Top up, View statement and See prices. They open your Anyza credits account.
What each community uses per day
Under Your communities and what each one uses, each community you own shows its credits per day and what makes them up:
- Public community: 1 credit a day. Private: 2 a day.
- Subscriber-only topics: +1 a day, whether you have one or several.
- Subscriber-only chat rooms: +1 a day, whether you have one or several.
- Subscriber-only lessons: +1 a day, whether you have one or several.
- Subscribers: +1 a day for every 10 active subscribers (for example, 25 subscribers count as 3 × 10).
- Automatic translation: +1 a day per language.
- Extra GB of files: +3 a day per GB.
Example: a private community with subscriber-only topics, 25 subscribers and 2 translation languages uses 2 + 1 + 3 + 2 = 8 credits a day.
Also in your usage
Below the list, Also in your usage (all your communities together) adds:
- Stored videos: 10 credits per GB per month, about 1 credit a day for every 3 GB.
- Videos watched: 1 credit per hour, counting the last 30 days.
- Robot posts: 5 credits each, counting the last 30 days.
Each line only appears when there's something to count.
Total per day and per month
- Total per day: all your communities plus video storage.
- ≈ per month: 30 days of your communities, plus video storage, plus watched hours and robot posts at the pace of the last 30 days.
One-off AI uses (cover, icon and file reading beyond the free ones) are charged right away and show up in your statement, not in the daily total.
Pause or resume a community
Tap Pause next to a community in the list, or go to Settings → About → Owner only → Pause community. A paused community:
- uses no credits;
- leaves discovery;
- becomes read-only for members.
Tap Resume whenever you want. To resume, you need balance: top up first if you're out of credits.
While a community is paused, only Credit usage and About open in its settings.
When credits run out
When your balance hits zero, a grace period starts:
- Members carry on as usual.
- The community leaves discovery and takes no new subscribers.
- The settings panel locks. Only Credit usage opens, so you can top up.
- Nothing is charged during this period.
After 90 days without balance, your communities pause and show Paused for lack of balance. Top up and tap Resume to bring them back.
Common questions
Do members pay anything? No. Community costs are always the owner's. The only exception is a member's own short videos: whoever posts a clip pays for it.
Why did my daily cost go up? Look at what's listed under each community: a new subscriber-only topic, more subscribers, a new translation language or extra file space all add to the day.
Does a paused community still charge? No. It uses no credits while paused.
Tips
- Check the runway after turning on something new, like translation languages or extra storage.
- Pause communities you're not using instead of leaving them running.
- Keep a few weeks of balance. Running out locks your panel, even though members keep their access.
